1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using FENNEC (fennecbtc.xyz) and its services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

FENNEC provides:

  • Fennec Swap — a decentralized exchange interface for swapping FB (Fractal Bitcoin) and BTC
  • Fennec ID — an on-chain identity card minted as a Bitcoin inscription on Fractal Bitcoin
  • Fennec Terminal — a dashboard for tracking balances, prices, and on-chain activity

3. Eligibility

You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction to use this service. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of FENNEC complies with all laws applicable to you.

4. Wallet & Transactions

FENNEC is a non-custodial service. We never hold, control, or have access to your funds, private keys, or seed phrases. All transactions are signed locally in your browser using your wallet extension (e.g., UniSat).

You are fully responsible for:

  • Securing your wallet and private keys
  • Verifying transaction details before signing
  • Understanding the risks of blockchain transactions (irreversibility, fee volatility, etc.)

5. Fennec ID Inscriptions

Fennec ID cards are minted as HTML inscriptions on Fractal Bitcoin. Minting and updating (burn + remint) involves on-chain transactions with associated network fees. These fees are non-refundable.

The content of your Fennec ID is derived from publicly available on-chain data and is generated automatically. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the displayed metrics.

6. Risks

Cryptocurrency and blockchain technologies involve inherent risks including but not limited to:

  • Price volatility of FB, BTC, and other assets
  • Smart contract and protocol-level vulnerabilities
  • Network congestion and transaction delays
  • Loss of access to wallets or inscriptions

FENNEC is not responsible for any losses incurred through the use of our service.

7. Intellectual Property

The FENNEC brand, logo, website design, and code are the property of FENNEC. Fennec ID card designs and on-chain inscriptions are owned by the wallet that holds them.

8. Limitation of Liability

FENNEC is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all liability for damages arising from the use or inability to use our services, including direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
